Raised Spiders accumulating material
The Spiders in the photo below were formed under conditions different from those of the experiment which produced the pattern in the upper image.

In this experiment the layered condition of the surface was fiberglass dust on top of field-dust. After power was turned off, and as my finger drew close material came off the screen to my finger, then, as it was moved to the perimeter, bursts occured to leaving small raised features which grew as material gathered back to the discharge points, but most of the material remained on my finger until I cleaned it off back onto the screen..

To More discharge images of the spiders of the first experiment where they formed by bursts. Video was used to capture these images.
