There is a wise saying that states, “Average ones compete with others. Great ones compete with themselves.” CyberTrails is a very self-motivated company. Our drive comes from a deep desire to not only be the best, but to be constantly improving. The result of hitting a new milestone ignites and inspires us and increases our trustworthiness with our current clients and our attractiveness to our future ones.
Five years ago, CyberTrails successfully underwent a SAS 70 Type II audit to assure that we were following industry practices, adhering to our own controls and operating in a transparent way. The SAS 70 Type II audit is one of the ways that the industry ensures that service provider companies have their ducks in a row. The SAS70 has been mothballed and the new SSAE16 is the new standard. The SSAE16 auditing standard is an enhancement to the old SAS 70 standard and is a widely recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
We are pleased to announce that CyberTrails has made the step beyond this new standard and received both a SSAE16 Type II audit and a SOC II Type II audit. This is an important industry-specific auditing standard based on AT 101 that you should be looking for when selecting a cloud hosting provider or data center. SOC II Type II Reports are based on controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, processing, integrity, confidentiality and privacy.
In our industry, it is imperative that CyberTrails have adequate controls and safeguards when we are hosting or processing data belonging to our customers. This new accomplishment again demonstrates CyberTrails adherence to rigorous, industry-accepted-auditing standards and our commitment to offer our clients the very best services that are possible. CyberTrails will continue to climb, improve and go that extra mile to ensure that your data is protected by the latest industry standards.
