"Acts Ch 2,--Mid-Acts,--Acts 28,
and--Acts 13:46, 18:6, 2:28, Dispensationalist"


Let it first be declared,that this author is the latter,i.e.an Acts 13:46,18:6, 28:28,dispensationalists, and his studied conclusion,is that the "other two" stated dispensational positions above, are scripturally indefensibile. In that respect,let us now consider the foregoing "first position":

"The Acts Ch 2 Dispensational Position"


It can be safely stated,that The Pentecostalists,in this present age, may be said to be the most prolific, and most vocal advocates, of this position,i.e. as proclaiming that "The Church" was born at The Pentecost of Acts Ch 2, and onward of course,throughout the entire book of Acts.

As such,they "take" the so-called Great Commission of Matt 28:19,20; Mark 16:15-18,as Christ's post-resurrection commission, for His Jewish Apostles to "begin The Church", by "going to" and "evangelizing" the entire Gentile world at large. Examined out of full scriptural context, the foregoing related verses would indeed appear to say that very thing, and provide the basis for simply continuing to do so, at The Pentecost of Acts Ch 2.

It is necessary therefore, that one "first deal with" the foregoing so-called Great Commission, and it's true relationship, to the events surrounding the (Strictly Jewish) Pentecost of Acts Ch 2. And in order to do so, one must go back to, and start with, Christ's (first commissioning) of those same Jewish Apostles,as follows:
Matt 10:1-8 "AND WHEN HE HAD CALLED UNTO HIM HIS TWELVE (Jewish) DISCIPLES,HE GAVE THEM POWER AGAINST UNSEEN SPIRITS, TO CAST THEM OUT, AND TO HEAL ALL MANNERS OF SICKNESSES AND ALL MANNER OF DISEASES-----THESE TWELVE, JESUS SENT FORTH AND COMMANDED THEM SAYING,---now note this---GO NOT INTO THE WAY OF THE GENTILES, AND INTO ANY CITY OT THE SAMARITANS ENTER YE NOT. BUT GO RATHER, TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL". So, whatever gospel Christ (then) commissioned His Twelve Jewish Apostles to then set fortth. It was not to be "given" to any Gentile. And why not? The Levitical Law of total separation of Jews and Gentiles,e.g.Lev 20:24,25, 2 Kings 17:24-41, with Acts 10:28,was still very much "in effect". But to continue---"HEAL THE SICK. CLEANSE THE LEPER. RAISE THE DEAD. CAST OUT DEVILS--".


Here it is of the utmost importance to note. That the foregoing strictly Jewish Commission was "temporarily suspended" by Christ Jesus, at Matt 16:20, i.e. as Christ's earthly ministry (solely to Jews) was also "temporarily suspended", as He then prepared for His pending Passion at Calvary, as follows:

Matt 16:20,21 "THEN CHARGED HE HIS DISCIPLES,THAT THEY SHOULD TELL NO MAN THAT HE WAS JESUS THE CHRIST. (FROM THAT TIME FORTH) BEGAN JESUS TO SHEW UNTO HIS DISCIPLES, HOW THAT HE MUST GO UNTO JERUSALEM,AND SUFFER MANY THINGS OF THE ELDERS AND CHIEF PRIESTS AND SCRIBES,AND BE KILLED,AND RAISED AGAIN THE THIRD DAY". That of course WAS the gospel message to National Israel,including the (strictly Jewish) "sign gifts" of the (Jewish) believers of Matt 10:1-8, that were automaticlly also "temporarily suspended", at Matt 16:20 above.


At Matt 15:24-26, Christ Jesus confirmed the exclusively Jewish content of His Matt 10:1-8 commission, when in response to the (Gentile) Syrophoenician woman's request for her daughter's healing, He replied, "BUT HE ANSWERED HER AND SAID. I AM NOT SENT BUT UNTO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL--IT IS NOT MEET TO TAKE THE CHILDREN'S (Israelites) BREAD, AND CAST IT UNTO (Gentile) DOGS".

Again, why not? Rom 15:8 "NOW I SAY,THAT CHRIST JESUS WAS A MINISTER OF THE CIRCUMCISION (i.e.a Jewish Rabbi),---TO CONFIRM THE (Old Testament) PROMISES MADE UNTO THE (Jewish) FATHERS".

And in Gal 4:4,5 "BUT WHEN THE FULNESS OF THE TIME WAS COME. GOD SENT FORTH HIS SON. MADE OF A WOMAN (Gr EK,out from a woman). TO REDEEM THEM (Jews) THAT "WERE UNDER THE (Mosaic,Old Testament) LAW-"

Each of the foregoing related verses,confirming the doctrinal fact,that Matt, Mark, Luke, and John's gospels, are strictly Israelitish, Old Testament Epistles. And not New Testament Church Epistles, as consistently so labled. And therefore, wrongly so divided as in present day biblical publications of The Holy Bible.

All of the foregoing scriptural facts, leading to the post-resurrection, "re-commissioning" of His 11 Jewish Disciples at Matt 28:19,20, Mark 16:15-18. When Christ Jesus, simply "re-started" His (strictly Jewish) Kingdom Commission of Matt 10:1-8,which He had "temporarily suspended", at Matt 16:20!

So how did the foregoing facts, set the (strictly Jewish) "limited scope" of the so called Great Commission of Matt 28:19,20, Mark 16:15-18? Note very carefully, the precise words of the resurrected Christ Jesus, when He appeared to these same Disciples, and "re-commissioned" them, as follows:
John 20:21 "--(AS) MY FATHER HATH SENT ME (i.e. solely to The Jewish Nation of Israel, as shown earlier in this study)--(EVEN SO), SEND I YOU".


Very plain indeed. "GO NOT INTO THE WAY OF THE GENTILES"--"I AM NOT SENT BUT UNTO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL"--"IT IS NOT MEET TO TAKE THE CHILDRENS'(Israelites) BREAD,AND CAST IT UNTO (Gentile) DOGS". For so the latter were scripturally classified--until--Acts 10:28,as we shall later on discover. The foregoing verse plainly sets "the scope" of the so-called Great commission of Matt 28:19,20; Mark 16:15-18, as being addressed to none other than The Jewish Nation of Israel!

But then one might understandably ask. Does it not plainly state in the foregoing verses of Matt 28:19, for Christ's Disciples to "GO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS---"? And in Mark 16:15, "GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL, TO EVERY CREATURE"?

It would indeed be foolish to claim otherwise. But as in all such doctrinal questions, one should do as Paul suggested, i.e.in permitting The Word of God, to be the sole interpreter of The Word of God, by "COMPARING SPIRITUAL WITH SPIRITUAL", 1 Cor 2:13. To that end, let us now carefully examine the verses in question:
  1. As stated earlier,the (AS) MY FATHER HATH SENT ME,(EVEN SO) SEND I YO ", compared with Matt 10:5,6; Matt 15:24; Gal 4:4; Rom 15:8, plainly state HOW,and TO WHOM, Christ Jesus was exclusively "SENT", i.e. (NOT), to any Gentile, but soley to The Jewish House of Israel. And that is precisely HOW, and TO WHOM, the newly resurrected Christ Jesus "SENT", His Jewish Disciples, John 20:21.

    In other words. ONLY, TO ALL OF THE 12 JEWISH NATIONS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THEN THEN KNOWN GENTILE WORLD, called The Jewish Diaspora. A prime example of this truth is found in the Jewish epistle of James 1:1 "TO THE TWELVE TIBES WHICH ARE SCATTERED ABROAD,GREETING". And in the Jewish epistle of 1 Pet 1:1, "TO THE STRANGERS SCATTERED ABROAD", i.e. literally, "TO THE (Jewish) SOJOURNERS OF THE DISPERSION". See Deut 28:25.
  2. Now notice. That in Mark 16:15, the Jewish Disciples were to "GO YE (INTO) ALL THE (Gentile) WORLD", and not, "GO YE (UNTO) ALL THE (Gentile) WORLD"!
  3. "AND PREACH THE GOSPEL,TO EVERY CREATURE",i.e. literally,"AND PREACH THE GOSPEL, TO ALL THE CREATION". That was, "TO EVERY JEWISH CREATURE (IN) ALL OF THE THEN KNOWN CREATION. Any other interpretation, that would (then include) the Gentiles, in that declaration, would be a total contradiction of John 20:21, and all of the other earlier mentioned "related verses"!
  4. The one indisputable proof, of the foregoing "limited Jewish scope" of the so-called Great Commission, was stated by Peter, in Acts 10:28. When after having received "the three sheet visions" of Acts 10:9-16, Peter said to (Gentile) Cornelius "YE KNOW HOW THAT (IT IS) AN UNLAWFUL THING, FOR A JEW TO KEEP COMPANY WITH, (0R COME UNTO) ONE OF ANOTHER NATION---BUT GOD HATH SHOWED ME (i.e. eight years after the giving of the foregoing Great Commission), THAT I SHOULD (now, as of his three sheet visions), NOT CALL ANY MAN COMMON, OR UNCLEAN". The Levitical Law, of complete separation of Jews from Gentiles, of Lev 20:24,25, was (obviously) still very much "in effect" UNTIL Peter's "three sheet visions" of Acts 10:9-16. As borne out further, by how Peter was severly reprimanded by the other Jewish Disciples, at Acts 11:1-5, for even "going to" one family of Gentiles, at Acts 10:11-48. That is, until Peter had recounted his "three sheet vision" experience, telling him to do so, Acts 11:18.
  5. So one need ask themself. Since Peter told Cornelius, that it was still an unlawful thing, for any Jew to "go to" any Gentile, or "keep company with them", for any reason(s), --UNTIL Acts 10:28. Then how could the so-called Great Commission have been meant to "SEND" any Jew, to any Gentile---prior to Acts 10:28??? The answer of course is that it could not have been so intended. Nor was it.
  6. Which effectually eliminates, any and all. Who would appeal to Matt 28:19,20, and Mark 16:15-18, as their commission, to also "GO TO", and evangelize the Gentile world at large. And, to "start" our Mystery Church, of Eph 3:1-10. Which by the way, was not even revealed to the Apostle Paul, until several years following the foregoing Great Commission, and The (annual), (strictly Jewish) Pentecostal Feast events of Acts:Ch:2. So much for The Pentecostalists, et-al, who continue "to operate under", the strictly Jewish, Davidic Kingdom Commission Gospel, of Matt 3:2, Matt 28:19, 20, and Mark 16:15-18.


Q. So what occured as a result of Peter's "three sheet visions", at Acts Ch 10?
A. Up until Acts 10:28,it was still unlawful for any Jew to "go to" any Gentile. So from Mt Sinai, Ex Ch 12, until Acts 10:28, "the gospel order was"--ONLY TO THE JEWS, AND NOT TO ANY GENTILE, EXCEPT THOSE "COMING TO" THE JEWS, SEEKING TO BECOME GENTILE PROSELYTES TO ISRAEL'S RELIGION OF JUDAHISM e.g.the Ethiopian eunuch, Acts 8:27.

From Acts 10:28 onward, A JEW COULD (THEN, AND THEREAFTER), "GO TO" ANY GENTILE, TO CONTINUE TO MAKE THEM GENTILE PROSELYTES TO JUDAHISM. THUS, BREAKING DOWN THE MIDDLE WALL OF PARTITION WHICH SEPARATED JEWS FROM GENTILE,i.e. The Old Testament Gospel of The Circumcision,(Eph Ch 2). So that in due time,Paul could make OF NEITHER JEW,NOR GENTILE, BUT OF THE TWAIN, (A NEW CREATION) CALLED CHRIST'S ONE BODY--Gal 3:28, Col 3:11, Eph 4:4-6. Which as we shall see, Paul did, at his "three phase", "transitional", "temporary", "ad-interim" setting aside of National Israel's JUDAHISTIC, Old Testament, Mosaic, Covenant of Law, at Acts 13:46, Acts 18:6, and finallly, at Acts 28:28.

"The Mid-Acts Dispensational Position"


There are those, who seeing the (obvious) un-dispensational position, of those who set the birth of Paul's Mystery Church, at the (strictly Jewish) Pentecost of Acts Ch 2. Have themselves, un-dispensationally, set the same, as having occured "sometime following" the stoning of Stephen, at Acts 7:54-60, and Saul's conversion to Paul, at Acts Ch 9. Thus, their self designation as Mid-Acts Dispensationalists. Once again, an indefensibile position, similar to that of Acts Ch 2 Dispensationalists, when closely examined as follow:

"The Acts 13:46---18:6---28:28--Dispensational Position"

Those who adopt the foregoing dispensational position, do so for the following (scriptural) reason(s):
  1. During the entire (Jewish) Book of Acts, the "gospel order" was always TO THE JEWS FIRST, Rom 3:9.
  2. As shown earlier, "the gospel order", from Acts 1:1 to Acts 10:28, was (then) TO THE JEWS, AND NO GENTILES--Matt 10:5.6, Matt 15:24, with Acts 10:28. As we have seen. (That) "gospel order" was "reversed", at Acts 10:28.
  3. Up until his conversion, at Acts Ch 9, Saul's "religion", was that of a Christ hating, Christ rejecting, Pharisee-ism. Which "religion" Paul "gave up" at Acts Ch 9, and became converted to National Isael's "religion" of Judahism, which basically speaking, was the accepting Christ Jesus as Israel's Messiah, as prophesied to come and through" the (non-priestly) Tribe of Judah, Gen 49:8-10, Ps 60:7, Ps 108:8, Heb Ch 7--with Acts 9:20, in context.
  4. But now carefully note. That Paul "gave up" his religion of Judahism, at Acts 13:39. Something that occured, when Paul was caught up into the 3rd Heaven", (2 Cor 12:1-4),and was given Our Mystery Church Gospel, described by Paul in Gal 1:1-12, which was in preparation, for Paul's Holy Spirit directed mission of Acts 13:2, i.e. His "three phaseî", ě"transitional", setting aside of Israel's Gospel of The Circumcision, at Acts 13:46--18:6--and 28:8. And his (simultaneous creation) of Our Mystery Church, and it's Gospel of The Uncircumcison -- as plainly recorded by Paul,in Gal 2:1-8.
  5. It is really very simple. Had Paul lived in this age of TNN, and The World Wide Web. He could have instantly set National Israel's Gospel of The Circumcison aside. But, due to the primitive means of communication, and modes of travel. It actually took Paul 9 years between his "first setting aside" in The Holy Land, and his "second setting aside" at Corinth ,and his "third and final setting aside", at Rome. Simply stated, it took Paul eighteen years to accomplish the task assigned to him and Barnabas,at Acts 13:2.
  6. In that respect, it is very important to now note. That even though Paul declared to The Jews, at Acts 13:46, and 18:6---"LO, WE TURN TO THE GENTILES". PAUL IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO HIS "TO THE JEWS FIRST" GOSPEL ORDER, during the entire remainder of The (Jewish) epistle of Acts, e.g Acts 14:1, Acts 18:7,8,26.
  7. To all the Acts Ch 2 and Mid-Acts Dispensationalists, et al, who would claim to read "Mystery Church Pogram", INTO ANY PORTION, of the strictly Jewish Book of Acts. They have no valid scriptural or dispensational reason(s), why following his conversion at Acts Ch 9. Paul, circumcised (Gentile) Timothy, at 16:1-3, as a convert to Judahism. Paul shaved his head, and took a Jewish vow, and partook of the Jewish act of "purification" at Acts 21:18-26. Paul raised a dead man back to life, at Acts 19:9, 10. Paul continued to "observe" the strictly Jewish (annual) Feast of Pentecost, and felt no harm from the bite of a deadly venemous viper, and still had the Jewish "sign gift" of healing, of Matt 10:1-8, Mark 16:15-18.i.e. at the very close of Acts Ch 28. Certainly NOT "the programs", that anyone should assign to Our Mystery Church describe by Paul, in Eph, Phil, and Col.
  8. Again,simply stated. The foregoing "change in dispensations", at Acts 13:46--18:6--and 28:28--"took effect", SOLELY TO THOSE, AT THAT LOCALE! Then, to those AT THE NEXT LOCALE. Then, to those AT THE NEXT AND LAST LOCALE!

    Time, and space, and other human restrictive factors, being the (natural) requirement, for the "three phase", "transitional", "setting asides", listed above.
  9. Properly assign Paul's Acts "written ministry", --back to, his Jewish and Gentile converts converts to Judahism made during the entire Jewish Book of Acts, i.e. of Romans, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Galatians, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, 1st and 2nd Timothy, Titus, Philemon. And you will be "Rightly Dividing The Word of Truth. Do not? And you will not. Because each of the foregoing, are NOT Mystery Church Epistles, but solely Jewish Epistles! A sub- ject, covered in much greater detail, in other related studies by this same author.
  10. Failure to note PAUL'S UNIQUE, TWO FOLD MINISTRY, of 1 Cor 9:19-23, i.e. during his Acts ministry, and in the foregoing Jewish epistles, written DURING that period. Has lead to the wrongful acceptance of each of the above as (supposed) New Testament Mystery Church Epistles--which they are not. And during which period, Paul, when "going to Jews"--could "act like a Jew". And when "going to Gentile proselytes),could "act like a Gentile"! Which Paul was (then) NEITHER--Acts 13:39, Phil 3:1-9, Gal 3:28,Col 3:11.
  11. One other very important point to remember, when considering The Jewish Book of Acts.
    1. While God's different dispensations "never overlap". Personal "lives", did (at least on two occasions), "overlap a change, in dispensations".
    2. First, at Mt Sinai, Ex Ch 19, when "The Old Testament, Covenant of The Circumcision "replaced" The Gentile Covenant of The Un-circumcison. Saved Moses, and other saved OTHER saved Gentiles with him, whose "lives" would then and there "overlap" the pending change in dispensations. Needed not to be "re-saved", but simply agree to "live under", the changing dispensational "rules", of their new dispensation "of law". The same applied to those Jews, and Gentile proselytes to Judahism, whose "personal lives", were about to "overlap" Paul's three dispensational changes, at Acts 13:46--18:6,and 28:28. They too, would not need to be "re-saved", but agree to Paul's (unique) offer to them. Of either continuing to "live under" their former Dispensation of Law. OR--as Paul put it in 1 Cor 31 31, in context. "YET SHOW I UNTO YOU--A MORE EXCELLENT WAY", i.e under The Dispensation of Grace. A unique offer, that would be totally withdrawn, at the third and final setting aside of The Covenant of Law--at Acts 28:28, when Gal 3:28, and Col 3:11 would (thereafter) solely apply.


The word "church" is an Anglo-Saxon "coined word". It nowhere appears in Holy writ as such. The Heb, or Gr word for "it", is EKKLESIA, of simply--CALLED OUT ONES, be it an unsaved assembly of Ephesian townspeople, Acts 19:23-41, or saved Jewish members of "a Jewish synagogue", started by Moses, at Mt Sinai, Acts 7:38. A fact determined solely by it's context usage. As such, there was A GENTILE CHURCH--from Gen 1:1, to Ex 19:1-8. Then there was A JEWISH CHURCH, from Ex 19:1-8, until it was transitionally set aside by Paul, at Acts 13:46, 18:6 and 28:28. Which, having been in existence since Mt. Sinai, was simply "ADDED TO", at The Jewish Pentecost of Acts Ch 2, and throughout the entire Jwsih Book of Acts, and as "identified as The Asian Jewish Churches, started by Moses at Mt Sinai, in Rev 1:11. (See Acts 15:21).

Then, there is our Mystery Church, of Rom 16:25, 26, Eph 3:1-10, started by Paul, at the (simultaneous) setting aside of The Jewish Church, at Acts 13:46, 18:6, and 28:28. It will continue, until our "secret rapture", described by Paul in 1 Thess 4:13-17.

Thus, one must become an Acts 13:46--18:6--28:28--dispensationalist in order to "Rightly Divide"the foregoing "three different dispensational churches", or rather, "Assemblies of Called Out Ones". The Acts Ch 2 dispensationalists, and the Mid-Acts dispensationalists,-- and in fact--each and every one of the world's well over 12,000 major denominational churches--have not done so. And thereby, in some form or degree, continue to hold on to the last vistages of Judahism, and the religiosity, and churchianity that inescapably accompanies it. Each, in their final analysis, hold on to "the shadow", rather than "The Reality", as so defined in Heb Ch 9. ALL, add some form or degree of "the former", TO "The Latter". And as such, come under the indictment of them in Rom 11:6,which sadly enough, places them ALL,under "THE ANATHAMA-MARANATHA--CURSE OF GOD--of Gal 1:6-9. Add (one work, to Grace)--and you don't get it. Rom 11:6, and a plethora of other related verse--say that very thing.

"In Summation"

  1. At each of the three,transitional,settinig asides of National Israelís Gospel of The Circumcision, at Acts 13:46, 18:6 and 28:28, and the (simultaneous) entrance of The Gospel of The Uncircumcision (of Gal 2:6-9). God once again "turned back to the Gentiles" and their Gospel of The Grace of God--as being totally apart from The Works of The Laws of Moses, (e.g.Acts 13:39,with Gal 3:8, in context).
  2. But that God "would again turn to the Gentiles", WAS NO MYSTERY! Quoting from The Scofield Bible pg 1252; "That the Gentiles were to be saved,was no mystery, Rom 9:24-33, Rom 10:19-21. The Mystery "hid in God", was The Divine Purpose,to make of Jew and Gentile, a wholly new thing--"The Church, which is Christ's Body", formed by The Baptism of The Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 12:12,13. And in which, tyhe earthly distinction of Jew and Gentile disappears, Eph 2:14, 15. Col 3:10, 11. The revelation of this Mystery, which was foretold but not explained by Christ, (Matt 16:18), was committed to Paul. IN HIS WRITINGS ALONE, WE FIND THE DOCTRINE, POSITION, WALK AND DESTINY OF THE CHURCH, Unquote. Truer words could not have been written. Which by definition, would make the Jewish epistle of Acts, written by Jewish luke--VOID OF ANY AND ALL "MYSTERY CHURCH" DOCTRINE, POSITION,WALK,AND DESTINY!.
  3. During the entire (Jewish) Book of Acts,the identity of both "Jew" and "Gentile" are still very much "in view", e.g Acts 9:15. An identity, that Paul said must be totally abolished in (our) Mystery Church", in order that "we" might become "A NEW CREATION, IN CHRIST JESUS", Eph 2:11-18.
  4. That Paul was "the first", to (positionally) surrender all of his former social, political, ethnic, and gender identities, was plainly so stated by Paul, in Phil 3:1-9. Paul had not done so, according to Luke, as late as Acts 22:3, 25-30, Acts 23:6.
  5. It should be carefully noted, that the foregoing (dispensationally accurate quotation) taken rom The (Old) Scofield Reference Bible, has been all but totally removed from The (New) Scofield Reference Bible. For as such, it (the accurate quotation) would,in it"s final analysis--successfully eliminate ALL of the well over 12,000 "different churches", who, by reading (our) Mystery Church (into) The Jewish Book of Acts. (and all of Paul's "other" Jewish epistles, written during the Acts period. Would supposedly "validate" their continued (wrongful) observances of Temple Worship, Ordinances of Divine Services, multiple human, priestly mediators, between God and man", etc---which were totally fulfilled, and totlally abolished, by Christís "torn flesh", at Calvary. Heb Ch 9 & 10.
  6. Those, who for whatever reason(s), would "hold on to the latter", because of having failed to "Rightly Divide" the (Jewish) Book of Acts. Please explain why, (as Acts Ch 2, or Mid-Acts, or simply Acts 28--Dispensationalists, you would accept the following as being "Mystery Church" programs!
    1. Acts 11:19 ě"NOW THEY WHICH WERE SCATTERED ABROAD UPON THE PERSECUTION THAT AROSE ABOUT STEPHEN. TRAVELLED AS FAR AS PHENICE, AND CYPRUS AND ANTIOCH. (PREACHING THE WORD TO NONE BUT UNTO THE JEWS ONLY)"
    2. "--WENT INTO THE SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH DAY, AND SAT DOWN" . Acts 13:1:14.
    3. "--THEY WENT BOTH TOGETHER INTO THE SYNAGOGUE OF THE JEWS --LONGTIME THEREFORE ABODE THEY--AND GRANTED SIGNS AND WONDERS TO BE DONE BY THEIR HANDS".

How could anyone read the foregoing "Acts Programs", and assign them to that of (our) Mystery Church ,of Ephesians, Phillipians, and Colossians? No way.
