The SET command has many options that can be used to
either turn off or turn on channel settings in your channel. These
commands are used to by the founder of the channel.
Command Purpose and Use
Founder
This command is used to change the founder of the channel.
The command is: /cs set #channelname founder newfounder
Passwd
The passwd command is used to change the channel founder password.
The command is:
/cs set #channelname passwd oldpassword newpassword
Desc
Desc changes the description of the channel which is displayed to users
when they request channel information using the 'info' command.
The command is: /cs set #channelname desc
channeldescription
Mlock
Mlock is used to lock the 'modes' of your channel so that they remain
locked even if everyone leaves the channel.
The command is: /cs set #channelname mlock (+ or -) mode(s)
/cs set #channelname mlock +tnrsi
Url
Url is used to set the URL you wish your users to see when they use the
'info' command.
The command is: /cs set #channelname url yoururl
Restrict
Restrict is used to restrict your channel to allow only Sop's, Aop's and Vop's
to enter the channel. All others will be kicked/banned when they enter.
The command is: /cs set #channelname restrict on (off)
Ident
With Ident on, your Sop's/Aop's/Vop's will only be recognized as operators
after they have identified to nickserv with their nick password.
The command is: /cs set #channelname ident on (off)
Opguard
When Opguard is on, only the listed Sop's/Aop's/Vop's will be opped in
the channel. Anyone else opped in the channel
will automatically
be deopped by chanserv
The command is: /cs set #channelname opguard on (off)
Memolevel
This setting has a default setting of 'none' when you register your channel.
You may set the memolevel in the channel to SOP, AOP, or VOP
depending on who you want to receive the memos that are sent to your
channel.
The command is: /cs set #channelname memolevel aop (sop or
vop)
