It is simple to set up mIRC for the first time following these simple steps.

After you have installed your mIRC program, start the program up and look around.  Get your self familiar with the icons at the top of the screen.  Your looking for the  icon at the top second from the left shown here.  This is where you set up your general options for mIRC.
